There's a chapter in the queue for Mixed Bag called "Star Trek: Season 5 Teaser" I honestly forget when it's up for posting, but soon I think. Anyway, it's from a longer story called (drum roll please...) "Star Trek: Season Five" obviously.
It's just a teaser, the first chapter from Episode Three, and I think it's kind of fun. I had to track down a Navy guy to give me an idea for it and he hooked me up! Like Popeye on spinach, I love those Navy guys! So it's pretty cool and it's all Star Trek the original series, with Kirk and Spock and all those guys. I'm hoping to have it finsihed soon and then I'll be posting it under "High School Sweetheart" probably. So this is the trailer for coming attractions.
I don't do a lot of Fan Fiction. I did one X-files story (in screenplay format...In honor of Darren Morgan, my favorite television writer and kind of a homage for a line he threw in my favorite x-files episode) anyway...I did a Superman story too, but that's about it. So Star Trek, the old one, is just ripe!! It's fun as hell and there is such a huge amount of information available on it. So that's what I'm doing there...A synopsis?
Basically the entire story is about Kirk and Rand being kidnapped during a transporter malfunction by a pair of space pirates. Kirk and Rand get switched, so Captain Kirk is now the sexiest Captain in Starfleet and Yeoman Rand is trying to learn how to perform the infamous flying dropkick. The two pirates are a huge Klingon jerk who likes raping the Orion galley slave and loves a Romulan Domme. He's the brawn, she's the brains and once she learns that they accidentally kidnapped the legendary Captain Kirk, she starts trying to figure out a way to use him to further her neferious plans for galactic domination. Unfortunately Rand is now in Kirk's body and Kirk is trying to talk her Yeoman into taking her virginity, since who ever heard of a Virgin Starfleet Captain? It's embarrassing!...

On a lighter note...I mean, reverse that. On a more serious note, "The Imaginary Man is coming and it's another interracial story. I swear, those things are like French fries. You can't eat just a handful. I'm hoping it'll be the last for awhile and I can focus on other things.
The story is about a black man who wants to see his young, beautiful wife having sex with white men. She just wants to love him.
Notes on that story...I really had to look closely at issues of jealousy, guilt, and self-esteem. I wanted as much of it to seem plausible as possible. I wanted the dialogue to sound realistic and I wanted the emotional content especially to ring true...And yet I knew I was writing a porn story. It was going to have sex in it, things were going to happen, good and bad, and some events would necessarily go a little over the top towards the end. That's okay though because porn is like that, short stories in general are often compressed and exagerration is a tool useful for that.
Originally I used "Kylie" and Rodney" and it was going to be a Kylie X. story, but with Karen in progress, I changed the names and gave it to rache. It's not really a Kylie story anyway as she is by nature a rather optimistic person. rache, on the other hand, doesn't say the glass is half-empty, she says, "Where the fuck's the rest of my water?"
And that line I'm going to steal for Sister Ellen in RBVS II ...So that's my little notes for those two, soon to be released chapters and stories and whatever.
